Tell us a little bit about yourself.
I am a husband and father of three. I am half Spanish so ‘no’ my name is not mis-spelt (pronounced ‘hi-mae’), everyone in the UK calls me Jamie. I spent half of the last 20 years living between Spain and the UK giving my children the opportunity to live both lives and become native in both languages. I am a travel enthusiast, keen motorcyclist, wakeboarder and snowboarder.
Tell us about your job?
My job is to ensure that TMT First fulfils its mission, achieves its goals, and hits its business targets through the acquisition and caretaking of clients and business opportunities.
What do you enjoy most about your job?
Every day is different, challenging, and rewarding. Working with a diverse range of people with a common goal gives a great sense of satisfaction due to the ‘family,’ environment despite the growing size of the team.
What’s the hardest thing about your job?
I have high standards and want everything done yesterday so managing priorities can be challenging.
What did you do before you joined TMT?
My first career and qualifications were in hospitality, I soon moved into Sales and then became a bit of a serial entrepreneur with businesses in marketing, retail, property and recruitment. I worked from home so this enabled me to spend years at a time in Spain.
What’s your ambition?
To continually achieve and maintain a set of goals to inspire me and my family to live my moto.
Tell us something no-one knows about you?
I’m scared of heights so in my character of ‘feel the fear and do it anyway’ I did a charity skydive.
