Our Process
TMT First has a five-stage process for recycling and disposing of your old technology. And we only need the client to be involved at the first stage:
- Collection – whether you drop off or we collect, step one is recovering your obsolete tech. All we ask is a list of the hardware.
- Data Erasure – as part of our QC, data wiping immediately makes the asset secure. If we can’t erase the data, it’s straight to the shredder!
- Testing & Refurb – next we check if the device works, does it need to be refurbished, is it of commercial value?
- Recycling – if the answer is no, then it’s off to be recycled, that may be reusing certain components or complete destruction, extracting precious metals and plastics.
- Certification & Reporting – our clients receive a full report including destruction and data wipe certificates, asset reports and recycling information. A full auditable trail.
