The Emergency Tech Show 2025

The Curtain Comes Down on the Emergency Tech Show 2025

Introduction

For two days in September at the Birmingham NEC, suppliers of all types came together for the Emergency Services and Emergency Tech Show. They demonstrated how their products and can help our emergency services in their aims and objectives. From drones to phones, IT systems to clothing, there was an eclectic mix of suppliers.

TMT First at the Show

TMT First attended for our second year in succession, following a successful show in 2024. Police, Ambulance, Fire and Coastguard are all trying to reduce technology costs and improve their environmental credentials. That is where TMT First step in with our repair services and buyback of old and obsolete fleets. Plus, it’s all backed up with our rock solid security credentials (PASF, Police Vetting, Cyber Essentials Plus and ISO27001). Traded obsolete stock funds can then be reinvested in new tech.

Emergency Tech Show

This year TMT First had several high-quality conversations with organisations across the emergency services sector, particularly interested in our repair and trade in services. Plus, on the other side, we had tech manufacturers including drone producers striking up a conversation regarding our repair capabilities.

Keeping Technology Alive for Longer

The emergency services have two main challenges, reducing expenditure and living up to ESG expectations. TMT First can support both of those objectives by keeping technology alive for longer through repair and refurbishment, plus eco-friendly disposal of obsolete tech. Our recently launched ITAD service (IT Asset Disposal) takes this one step further by offering onsite equipment collection and if required, onsite device shredding.

Public Sector Partner

TMT First has recently become an ESPO partner, plus we are signed up to the Low Value Purchase System, LVPS. We already serve the public sector including local authority, schools and academies, councils and government organisations.

Conclusion

While the dust settles on the Emergency Tech Show, TMT First is still following up on conversations, leads and opportunities. However, if you didn’t get the chance to visit our stand please get in touch to see how we can support your organisation.
