TMT First became Cyber Essentials certified in June 2023 and are now proud to announce we have been Cyber Essentials Plus certified.
To be accredited Cyber Essentials Plus, TMT First has had to undertake a rigorous, hands-on technical audit conducted by a third-party assessor. In addition, an independent assessment to test and verify security control effectiveness within our systems and processes.
At TMT First data security and integrity is core to our repair and service proposition. We process over 250,000 devices per annum of which the majority contain sensitive, personal information. Our phones contain our life. We have always treated this responsibility very seriously, even before Cyber Essentials.
The step up to Cyber Essentials Plus is testament to our team, our processes and our pursuit of data security for every one of our customers, from individuals to the emergency services, blue chip corporations to sole traders.
To be awarded Cyber Essentials Plus, TMT First’s IT systems have had to undergo real world cyber-attack simulations to check our defences can withstand hackers. This all adds up to enhanced client reassurance in our data security.
Cyber Essentials is a government backed scheme to help guard against the very real security threats from hackers. Cyber Essentials Plus is the highest level of certification available, so TMT First are extremely pleased to have received it. Cyber Essentials Plus is an ongoing accreditation requiring annual assessment – this ensures that TMT First continue to develop and improve our security as different threats develop.
