Earlier this year we submitted an entry into the country’s most prestigious business awards, and we can finally announce that we WON!
TMT First has been honoured with a King’s Award for Enterprise for Innovation which is a truly amazing achievement.
We are one of only 197 organisations nationally to be recognised with the prestigious award for our innovative Mobile Component Repair Service (MCR).
Our Founder and Chair Adam Whitehouse said: “To receive a King’s Award for Innovation is one of the proudest moments of my career. To be recognised for the hard work we have done around innovation is truly humbling. Innovation is at the heart of everything we do at TMT First, and this award reinforces our mission to continue to deliver smarter, more sustainable technology solutions for our partners, customers and the circular economy.
He added: “Our Mobile Component Repair process is a game-changer — reducing repair costs, cutting CO2 annually, and extending the life of devices. TMT First now joins over 8,000 UK enterprises that have received this Royal recognition since the Awards were first created in 1965. The King’s Award for Enterprise is a globally recognised mark of achievement. Previously known as the Queen’s Awards for Enterprise they were renamed in 2023 to reflect His Majesty the King’s desire to continue the legacy of HM Queen Elizabeth the 2nd by recognising outstanding UK businesses. The Award programme, now in its 59th year is the most prestigious business award in the country with successful businesses able to use the esteemed King’s Award Emblem for the next five years.
