On September 18th the Mobile Phone industry gathered at the Royal Lancaster in London for the Mobile Industry Awards, hosted by comedian Kerry Godliman. TMT First had already been shortlisted in four categories, Best Place to Work, Best Repair Service, Best Recycling and Refurbishing Service and Sustainability Initiative of the Year.

In 2024 TMT First were the recipients of the Sustainability Initiative of the Year, and in 2025 were hoping to do even better. With a total of 22 awards to be presented during the evening, TMT First were rewarded with the ‘Best Repair Service’.
For a business built around the cornerstone of mobile phone repairs, to be awarded with Best Repair Service is recognition for what we have been doing since 2006. TMT First has also recently been appointed by Emporia, the easy to use mobile phone manufacturer, adding to Apple, Microsoft, Samsung and JCB, so it was fitting to receive an award as our partner base is growing.
To enter the Mobile Industry Awards requires a detailed submission answering a number of questions regarding service, capabilities and development over the last year. Each submission is scrutinised, assessed and the finalists then announced. Following this stage a judging panel made up from industry experts further score each finalist until a winner is determined.
As a result, just being a finalist is a reason for celebration. To actually win a Mobile Industry Award, knowing the judging process, is even more of an achievement. Given the awards have been running for 20 years, they have a strong history and are held in high esteem by the industry.
In the words of the awards organisers, commenting on TMT First’s victory, ‘Congratulations on setting the standard for quality, reliability and customer care in repair services’.
TMT First would like to congratulate everyone who entered the awards, the organisers, the team at TMT First, our clients and partners, especially those who provided a testimonial to support our entries.
Now the challenge is to deliver further innovation over the next 12 months to hopefully retain the title.
