TMT First are pleased to announce we have been shortlisted at the Mobile News Awards 2025 for not one, not two, but three awards!
We’re hoping to go one better than last year when we finished as ‘Commended’, fingers crossed we can pick up an award for all the hard work and team effort that has gone into 2024.
The awards we have been shortlisted as finalists for are:
Best Service & Repair

TMT First and Samsung have submitted a joint entry for this category, which measures repair services, innovation, sustainability and customer service. Where TMT First and Samsung excel is in Mobile Component Repairs (which reduces customer costs and parts needed to complete a repair); our speed of repair which averages 1.7 days, customer feedback (4.7 on Trust Pilot) and highly skilled workforce.
Best Secondary Market Provider

The secondary market and circular economy is at the heart of TMT First. This award honours providers who contribute meaningfully to the circular economy, setting benchmarks in quality standards, customer satisfaction, and responsible industry practices. TMT First leads the way, offering a one stop shop in the secondary market from buyback to repairs and refurbished sales – plus everything in between.
Best Secondary Market Facilitator

Similar to provider, the facilitator award is looking for organisations which optimise the resale, refurbishment, or distribution of pre-owned devices. Because TMT First offer both trade services and consumer services (through Meelie Mobile) we are unique in the market. From insurers to distributors, retailers to the emergency services, TMT First provides services from inspection and grading to repairs and data wiping.
The Mobile News Awards are the oldest and most prestigious in the industry, to be nominated as finalists in three categories is an achievement in itself. It is a reflection of our commitment, professionalism, innovation and hard work that we are in this position. The awards ceremony takes place at the London Hilton on April 3rd, so wish the team at TMT First luck!
