Many organisations, both public and private sector, operate a fleet of technology including mobile phones and tablets. New devices typically come with a two-year warranty (one year for iPhone) which covers manufacturing defects (but not accidental damage).
Insurance is also available, which is payable regardless of whether you make a claim. Insurance may include accidental damage, loss and theft (usually subject to an excess).
A mobile phone device maintenance agreement is a third way, a plan designed to cover accidental damage and out of warranty repairs for a fixed price. What is included and what does it cost?
Based on your current mobile phone fleet, projected growth and current repair history, TMT First will calculate the number of repairs required over a determined period (12, 24 or 36 months).
From this information we will calculate a monthly plan, so for the client there is a fixed cost. Each agreement is tailored for your mobile phone fleet, so in simple terms the value of the phone will drive the overall monthly plan.
